January 2003
Cross Pointe began as a satellite of another local church. Current property at 1800 Satellite Boulevard was donated, including a factory, administration and warehouse space that would require extensive renovation for church use.

May 2003
First service of Cross Pointe held at Collins Hills High School. Renovation begins on Satellite Boulevard property.

July 2003
Cross Pointe moves to Preachtree Ridge High School, meets weekly for one service.

Fall 2003
Two floors of Satellite Boulevard administration building open for preschool and children's programming.

January 2004
Bank grants multi-million dollar credit line to our young church. Construction begins on Worship Center renovation at Satellite Boulevard.

February 2004
First preview service held in empty warehouse space that Satellite Boulevard that will become future Worship Center.

Easter 2004
Two more floors of Satellite Boulevard administration building open for preschool through adult programming. Church moves to two worship services at Peachtree Ridge High School.

August 2004
Church moves in to Worship Center at Satellite Boulevard.

2006
First floor of Worship Center building renovated into new Preschool area (First Links).

2008
Portion of former factory building renovated into Student Building. Church grows to 1,500 in worship regularly. Over 450 people have participated in short-term mission trips since the church was started.

2010
Church breaks 2,000 in worship for first time on non-Easter Sunday. Since inception, we have baptized over 900 new believers at Cross Pointe! Renovation of additional empty space into Preschool "Butterfly Island" worship area and indoor playground, bathrooms and meeting space is completed. "Rise to the Occasion" campaign begins, a 3-year journey to expand missions and ministry and retire existing debt. Over $5.8 million is committed.

2011
Church shatters Easter attendance record with 1,000 more than ever before. Renovation of lower floor of Student Building into Community Center.
