Alfred Burgess
Next Generation Minister
In 2009 Alfred joined the Cross Pointe Staff. "I have a passion for children and teenagers, a burden for the family and the blinders Satan has put on us, and a vision and a plan to help change the family into God's family!" Alfred says. He's excited about being at Cross Pointe and the ministry opportunies God has entrusted to him. "I believe in this body of believers and I want us to grow together as Christ's disciples." In addition to his role at Cross Pointe, Alfred is involved in ongoing missions in Nicaragua.
Alfred came to Christ as a teenager. "I did not have the privilege of exposure to the gospel as a child. My family did not seek church until my adopted Mother became ill," Alfred explains. "A youth pastor sought me out and pour into me, as a result I saw my depravity and accepted Christ as my Savior. My Mother passed away shortly before I accepted Christ and without Him I could not have made it through that difficult time."
Alfred and his wife, Maranatha, are the parents of three children, sons Barrett (6) and Brock (4) and newborn daughter Bowen.
