Amber joined the Cross Pointe staff in 2004. "I love getting to interact with others. I'm very much a 'people person', so the training that I get to do for my job is very enjoyable," Amber comments. "I'm good at finding out how a person learns the best and then trying to teach them in that way. I'm also patient, which comes in handy when training people. And I love to talk, which is wonderful since I get to talk to so many people and I get to train so many volunteers."

Amber came to Christ during her childhood years. "I grew up in a loving Christian family who nurtured me & showed me the love of God. I invited Jesus into my heart at age 9 and have been trying to live my life for Him ever since."

Amber and her husband, Shaun, have been married since December 2000. "He is not only a great Christian man, but my best friend," Amber says. "We have a cute little dog (Gizmo) that has been our 'baby' for 9 years now."

Favorite Food: Japanese

Something unusual you might not know about Amber: "My husband and I race cars together."

Favorite thing to do with free time: "Being at the race track, playing with my dog, watching the TV show Lost, scrapbooking."

Favorite sports team: University of Georgia--Go Dawgs!

In high school, Amber was most likely to: "be hanging out with friends while playing sports or being in the band."

Today, Amber is most likely to: "be at the track or playing with cars."

Last thing Amber does before falling asleep: "Set my alarm for the morning."
