Eric Echols
Pastor of Ministries
Eric joined the Cross Pointe team in 2011. In his role at Pastor of Ministries, he enjoys developing leaders and building teams, then unleashing them to serve the Kingdom. What he loves about Cross Pointe is "the hunger of our staff and congregation to know God and make Him known," he says. "I have been privileged to serve with amazing leaders that invested me and taught me how to invest in others."
Eric came to Christ as a teenager. "I became a Christ follower about a month before my sixteenth birthday," he explains. "My dad became a Christian two years earlier and I watched his life to see if Jesus was for real. After seeing the change that God did in my dad's life, I realized that I too wanted to follow Christ."
Eric has been married for 13 years. "I am married to by best friend, Nicole," he smiles. "We have three children: Samuel, Emma and Wilson. Our boys are biological, and we adopted our daughter from Taiwan when she was 4 years old. We also have two dogs, a bearded dragon and a couple of goldfish (if they're still swimming upright)."

Favorite Scripture: Phillippians 4:13, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
Something you probably didn't know about Eric: "I went to the last Elvis concert in Atlanta. I also spent three months living in Shanghai, China as a college student."
How Eric likes to spend free time: "Playing with my three kids, hanging out with Nicole, reading, and running."

Best gift Eric ever received: "A pony! No not really, but I did get a really cool bike in elementary school."
