Renee Maynard

Renee has served on Cross Pointe's staff since 2009. "I believe God has blessed me with the gifts of administration and hospitality," she says. "I enjoy each facet of the Communications Department, working with the wonderful Cross Pointe staff, and serving the Cross Pointe Church family in whatever way I can."

Renee came to Christ as a child. "I was thirteen years old when I submitted my life to Christ. I was brought up in a Christian home and had attended church since birth, but as I entered my teens and felt the void of self-sufficiency, I knew I needed a Savior."

Renee's family and God's mission are both important aspects of her life. "I am married to Mark Maynard and we have 6 children; two girls and four boys, and three grandsons. We are faith missionaries, serving primarily in Africa and Thailand, and the Lord has blessed us with the opportunity to see many come to know Christ."

Favorite thing to do with free time: "Scrapbooking, hiking with the family, entertaining."

Best present Renee ever received: "Two of my children were baptized on my fortieth birthday."

Favorite Sports Teams: Dallas Cowboys, USC Trojans

Someting unusual you might not know about Renee: "I marched in the Rose Parade three times."

Something Renee learned from her parents: "Always be respectful and do your work as if you were doing it for the Lord."

Last thing Renee does before going to bed at night: "Thank the Lord for another day of life."
