Doing Life Together
From the time our Lord Jesus Christ left this earth to prepare a place for each of us, the church has been a community that has helped to shape solid marriages, sturdy families and strong relationships. Simply being part of our church will not automatically produce these things--but we know that being part of a local church can make those things much easier to realize. That’s why Cross Pointe is passionate about the concept of doing life together.
Life Groups are focused on Bible study, fellowship and equipping people to live as effective Christ-followers today. Groups are formed according to similar life stage, age, gender, or goals, and meet weekly or biweekly, on campus or in homes.
The Acts 2 Church
In Acts 2:42-47, we see that the first century church was centered on four things...
- Teaching God’s Word
- Community fellowship
- Devoted prayer
- Ministry to one another and the community
Though things have changed since then, we believe these foundational truths are as core to the function of the church today as they were 2,000 years ago. We still center our lives on the Word, we still desire to be in community with one another and we still gather together to experience God and to serve the community and the world in His name.
At Cross Pointe, we offer weekly Life Group opportunities on Sundays, and Home Groups to suit your schedule and geography. Whether you prefer to meet on Sunday or through the week, in the morning or evening, on campus or in someone’s home, we have something for you. Married or single, working or retired, have kids or not—there is a Life Group opportunity awaiting you. We want you to be able to learn God’s plan for His followers and connect with other people like you. The more time you spend with other Christ-followers studying God’s Word, the better equipped you will be to reflect Christ in your marriage, your family and your relationships.
