Feet on the Street
Feet on the Street is a Cross Pointe outreach to the homeless of Hurt Park in metro Atlanta. On the fourth Saturday of each month we meet at 11:00 a.m., load supplies, and serve the homeless for several hours. We distribute lunches, Bibles, socks and hygiene kits. We talk to them about Jesus and show them we care about them as we distribute supplies and interact. Jesus said in Matthew 25 that when we minister to the poor and those in need in His name, we are serving Jesus Himself.

This is an outdoor ministry and we serve rain or shine. We do hear and see things that are inappropriate for children under the age of 14. Participants must stay in groups of 2-3 while in the park and there is someone designated on our team watching out for the safety of the participants. We do not give out money to anyone for any reason. We would love to have you as an adult and your older teen children (must be accompanied by an adult) to join us!

CEF Good News Clubs
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) brings the love of Jesus to children around the world. Cross Pointe has partnered with CEF to sponsor two Good News Clubs in the area. A Good News Club is a volunteer after school Bible club that meets each week on a public elementary school campus. It provides Bible lessons, songs, Scripture memory, and missions stories focused on a lesson theme. Numerous volunteer opportunities are available.

Gwinnett County Jail
Volunteers 21 years of age and older are needed to participate in monthly Bible study sessions in the inmate housing areas at the Gwinnett County Jail in Lawrenceville. To serve in the jail ministry you must complete an application, submit to a background check and fingerprint scan. There is a mandatory training class that must be completed prior to serving at the jail.

Volunteer Gwinnett
Volunteers are needed to help seniors with weekend yard work including mowing, raking, trimming, debris removal and clearing walkways. This is a great ministry opportunity in which families or groups may serve together. There is also an opportunity to help seniors with basic transportation for local errands, primiarly on weekdays. To serve with this ministry you must complete an application and submit to a background check.

Handyman Ministry
Volunteers are needed to help with minor home repairs for elderly or homebound residents in the area.
