Ambassadors to Church Planters involves Cross Pointers visiting and encouraging church planters across North America. North America is a multi-cultural mission field of nearly 226 million lost people. It cannot be reached for Christ without starting large numbers of new churches. Encouraging and partnering with church planters who reach the unreached is a priority for Cross Pointe Church.
Why? Because the church to population ration is declining rapidly while church size has virtually remained the same.
- In 1900 there were 27 churches for every 10,000 Americans.
- In 1950 there were 17 churches for every 10,000 Americans
- In 1996 there were 11 churches for every 10,000 Americans.
Accomplishing the task of expanding Christ’s Kingdom in North America requires that many church planters be sent out. But church planting can be a long, hard, lonely calling. Many fail because they lack prayer and financial support and the encouragement that is desperately needed. Join us in caring for church planters.
Visit a Cross Pointe church-planting partner in one of the 5 North American regions. Take your family vacation to their city, add a day or two onto a business trip. Schedule some time with the church planter and his family. Just love them, encourage them, and build an ongoing relationship with them. Take them out to dinner on Cross Pointe. Yep, we’ll pay the bill.
