God often brings the combination of challenge and opportunity. Throughout the Bible we see people overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds as they obey God and then experience success in His mission as a result. David overcame Goliath and became a great leader for God. Nehemiah rebuilt God's temple. Paul looked past imprisonment to write some of the foundational letters of the New Testament. Each of these people rose to the occasion--and God used their initiative to accomplish great things.

In November 2010, Cross Pointe Church Rose to the Occasion, committing over $5.7 million dollars to debt reduction, missions and ministry. Over a three-year period, these funds, over-and-above our Budget offerings and tithes, will help us retire the debt on our Student Building, and expand our impact locally and globally.
