Children's Ministry

The following volunteer opportunities are currently available for this ministry area. Check back often as opportunities are added and updated regularly.

CP Kids Leaders
Volunteers lead small groups of kids in either drama, technical arts, creative movement or praise and worship.

• When: Wednesday nights, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
• Training Offered: General tech knowledge may be required
• Time Commitment: 1.5 hours per week
• Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Administration, Service

11:00 Guides
Volunteers will escort the kids back and forth between different activities. No teaching is required, mainly crowd control and support.

• When: Sunday mornings - 11:00 am worship hour
• Training Offered: Yes

Kids Greeter
Kidz K`nextion Greeters make children and their families feel welcome. Volunteers greet visitors and regular members with a smile and assist them by giving tours, answering questions and so forth.

• When: Sunday mornings, 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
• Training Offered: Yes
• Time Commitment: 1 hour per week
• Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Encouragement, Serving and Mercy

Small Group Shepherd
Small Group Shepherds lead 10 to 18 students through the provided curriculum. Students are grouped by age in first and second grades and by age and gender in third through fifth grades. Responsibilities include facilitating the discussion of the weekly lesson and leading the class in games and activities.

• When: Sunday mornings, 9:15 to 10:45 a.m.
• Training Offered: Yes
• Time Commitment: 2 to 3 hours weekly
• Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Teaching, Encouragement and Mercy
