Communications Ministry
The Communications Ministry encompasses our various means of communication and networking, including print media, websites, broadcast media, computers and networking, displays and signage, media and public relations, graphic arts and photography. Office Volunteers
Office volunteers assist in the Church Office during the week on a per-project basis. Tasks include running copies, finishing and assembling booklets or packets, creating display materials, helping staff with organization of events and ministries, ordering and restocking supplies and general clerical and office help.

Web Volunteer
Web volunteers assist in updating and creating content for the church’s various websites, podcasts, email blasts and text blasts. Good working knowledge of the internet and some familiarity with content management systems and basic website maintenance are required.

Photographer
Photography volunteers document church events and ministries through photographs. Special projects are also a part of this volunteer role, which may include providing artistic photo interpretations for a ministry theme or need. Photographers must be familiar with basic photographic elements such as shutter speed, aperture and white balance and provide their own digital camera.

Graphic Artist
Graphic artists provide logos, layouts and display graphics for use in promoting and facilitating the ministries of the church. Brochures, booklets, flyers, posters, forms, T-shirts, coffee mugs, CD jackets—just about anything you can image may fall into this role as the artist designs graphics as required. Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) are helpful.

Writer
Writers provide original content for not only promotional materials, but also assist in the creation of Bible study curriculum in cooperation with the Adult Discipleship Ministry. Volunteers wield the English language to craft creative prose for ministry promotion. Writers with giftedness in teaching the Bible can also help in the creation of teaching guides and other printed materials.

Information Technologies Team
Members of our IT Volunteer Team help plan, manage and expand our computer infrastructure, including network, internet and network access, servers, software and desktop and laptop hardware. Volunteers also help train office staff and other volunteers in the use of various pieces of computer hardware and software. IT Team members also help ensure our network security through hardware and software checks. Because some of these roles may include access to our servers and administrative logins, a background check and an orientation period may be required.
