Solo Moms Ministry
The Solo Moms Ministry serves those raising children alone. This includes moms who have never been married, are divorced, widowed or are raising children alone because husbands are in the military or otherwise absent. Special and meaningful relationships are formed between volunteers in this area and the women we serve. Solo Moms Discussion Facilitator
Discussion facilitators guide small groups of solo moms through pre-defined questions provided by the session teacher to ensure understanding.
- When: Sunday mornings, 9:30 a.m. or Wednesday evenings during related Cross Pointe University classes.
- Training Offered: Yes
- Time Commitment: 0.5 hour weekly, facilitating; 1.5 to 2 hours of preparation

Solo Moms Care Group Leader
Care Group Leaders are responsible for a small group of the solo moms to ensure all feel welcome and find a place of belonging. This includes establishing and maintaining contact, follow-up with absentees, sending birthday cards and other encouragements, and reporting to and passing on identified needs to the ministry coordinator.
- When: Sunday mornings, 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday evenings during related Cross Pointe University class; and various times throughout the week
- Training Offered: Yes
- Time Commitment: 0.5 to 1 hour weekly
- Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Shepherding, Mercy, Exhortation and Encouragement

Solo Moms Fellowship Coordinator
The Fellowship Coordinator is responsible for planning and carrying out various fellowship opportunities. The Fellowship Coordinator establishes and leads a Fellowship Team.
- When: At a minimum, every two months

- Time commitment: 0.5 to 1.5 hours/week
- Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Administration, Shepherding, Hospitality, Service

Solo Moms Hosts/Hostesses
Hosts/Hostesses are couples or women willing to host or facilitate dinners, holiday gatherings, cookouts or other fellowships for the Solo Moms. They coordinate with the Fellowship Coordinator to schedule gathering(s).
- When: At a minimum, once/year
- Training Offered: Yes
- Time commitment: 8 hours/year
- Spiritual Gifts Utilized: Hospitality, Service

Solo Moms Missions Coordinator
The Missions Coordinator serves as the liaison between the Solo Moms ministry and the Missions Ministry of Cross Pointe by identifying, collecting information and relaying back to the Solo Moms those needs where women (and potentially their children) can partner to meet those needs.

Solo Moms Mentoring Couples
Solo moms need positive male role models for their children. Mentors are spiritually mature couples willing to provide one-on-one time with a mom and her child(ren) to provide encouragement, help the mom establish boundaries, etc.
