Student Ministry
Cross Pointe’s Student Ministry reaches and teaches students in grades 7-12. There are several opportunities to serve in this ministry area. Middle School Small Group Leader
A key to an effective student ministry is small groups. This is where true life change takes place. As a Middle School Small Group Leader or Co-Leader, you will work with 10-12 students, grouped by age and gender. You will teach, challenge and counsel them as they walk through their middle school years. Small Group Leaders are both teaches and mentors, seeking to know and be involved in the lives of their students. They facilitate the Bible teaching time, and pray for each student weekly.
- When: Sunday mornings, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. plus 1-2 additional hours per week making contacts

Middle School Small Group Co-Leader
Co-leaders work with Small Group Leaders to share the ministry and responsibilities of the small group. A co-leader may also be asked to step in when the Leader is away. A key component of this role is developing an active, mentoring relationship with each student in the Small Group. They also pray for each student weekly.

High School Small Group Mentor
As a High School Small Group Mentor, you will lead a group of 10-12 students, grouped by age and gender. Teach, challenge and counsel them as they walk through their high school years. Mentors lead students through weekly Bible study curriculum, promoting discussion and helping them to apply the Word. Develop relationships with the students, pray for them and become an active and supportive part of their lives.

Greeter/Info Desk Attendant
These volunteers make new students and their families feel welcome by greeting, giving tours and answering questions. They are up-to-date on current events and ministry opportunities, collect information from students and answer questions during registration times and as needed on Sunday mornings.
- When: Sunday mornings, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- Training Offered: Yes
- Time Commitment: Varies—about 2 hours per month

Student Event Volunteer
Volunteers help with Student Ministry events throughout the year, such as Authentic Weekend, All Access and other opportunities. Some roles within this area include transportation, food preparation, helping with registration, event set-up and tear-down and security.
